01/07/2017 – PopUp Art Action

Max (painter)

…the people who sit next to me to meet my “art” are always disappointed when they just see themselves… The depth on the surface where their secret lusts and dreams hide… and I with all my thoughts, and paintbrush strokes I aim to sink them as deep down as possible in this unconcious mysticism…

Syporca Whandal (multidisciplinary experiment)

The “all-browed” fragments are arranged in a mosaic with all art.
I tend the ambivalent limits of death and immortality, purity, and sin.
My creative fanaticism goes beyond the fictitious and manifested labyrinth of linear goals. My physical existence and my creative power gained eternal restlessness in the pseudo-existence.
Mrs. Ágnes performance / installation 20 minutes 2017.
In the centennial year of János Arany, we summon Mrs Ágnes’s white lining: her wife is tempted
An instinct on a barbed wire
2×1 tablespoons of blood-stained black soup.
The banner of mute tragedies rages on the bitter trees.

Rovar17 (noise musician)

The Rovar17 (Insect17 in English) is basically Kálmán Pongrácz’s solo project, but different kinds of collaboration often occur with musicians, visual artists, performers as well as theater. The music is made by audio-audio collage technique, which rejects the traditional sound system, harmony, melody, even rhythm, and creates compositions from inconsistent and untempered sounds, noises, natural or electronic- but mostly human voices. The method of the Rovar17 audio collage technique:
first step: Creation. We create some artificial organisms. Because we have not got pure laboratory, and we cannot groom test-tubes and instruments; the generated living beings are black-hearted.
second step: Sampling. We investigate the evil beings & make video and audio record of their behaviour.
Eventually, finds are presented live to the audience. The phenomenon of Rovar17 was born 31st of August 2002 in the workroom of Kálmán Pongrácz. Levente Bod joined the band three days after, and they worked jointly until 2005. Also special thanks for the perfect concert sonority of the Rovar17 for Nándor Maller, and for Zoltán Fekete, who was responsible for the visuals in the early years. Now the Rovar17 is a solo project, however Kálmán Pongrácz is a member of the band ParaNoiZ formed in 2011, the Százaségő from 2013 – till 2015, and the Royal Hungarian Noisemakers from 2015. This act has already seen more than 300 concerts and performances…
